Steady As She Goes....

File this under "it could always be worse" :)

No big changes to finish this week as high pressure aloft still dominates. That means rain-free conditions today and Friday with just a few PM clouds and highs generally mid 90s with a south breeze continuing.

This weekend, we will see an upper level low track along the Mexican border...which basically means showers in South Texas will probably stay to our south, however with added moisture aloft, we will keep a very LOW 10% coverage of PM showers through Monday with highs in the mid to upper 90s.

A weak front in OK may produce some storms Tue that sneak over the Red River, hence the 20% coverage for that day...but high pressure will build back in Wed-Thu next week to keep it hot and rain-free.

By late week or early next weekend, we could see a weak front get closer with slightly higher rain chances and hopefully a slight drop in temps back to normal.
