Showers Return To End the Week!

Summer takes another little break this weekend!

Today will still be another seasonably warm and humid day with highs low to mid 90s and just a few clouds building up PM. Areas well SE of Dallas may see a brief flare up of PM showers, but most will not.

Tomorrow will be the best chances to see any shower/storm activity as a disturbance moves in from the Gulf. A little morning sun will bubble up about 40% coverage of showers noon-7pm, some with brief heavy downpours. Highest chances will be DFW east. They should all dissipate quickly by sunset.

This weekend will continue with a moist air mass, so heating (low 90s) will blow up a few isolated (20%) showers each afternoon.

That coverage quickly diminishes next week as high pressure starts to build in as we hit September...and temps may inch back up into the mid and a few upper 90s.
