Ready for the CHANGE to winter?

The first moments of WINTER...will feel like SPRING! And then REALITY kicks in this weekend! Still a DRY, chilly Holiday forecast.

Less fog and more SUN today will push temps into the 70s MOST areas except NE where some low clouds and fog will start the day. Even 80 possible west of FTW.! Clouds will increase later PM and become overcast tonight. It will be a very mild evening in the 60s.

A strong COLD FRONT blows through overnight into early Friday AM. There will be some showers (40%) possible as the cooler air shifts in.

Temps will FALL from morning highs...closer to the low 40s or even 40 by later in the day as RAIN chances rise to 70% Metro...higher east/south with a brisk north wind. Brrr.

Rain will exit by midnight most areas as we fall into the mid 30s.

Saturday will be DRY and cool with a fair amount of sun. Highs in the low 50s...a little cooler north...milder south.

The NEXT cold front should head through Sunday with morning clouds giving way to partly sunny skies and gusty north winds again. Highs in the 40s will feel chilly!

CHRISTMAS morning will be clear and COLD. Below freezing...likely some mid to upper 20s before rebounding to near 50 PM with some high clouds.

Clouds will be slowly increasing Tuesday and Wednesday, with a chance for some rain to develop mid-week.
