Rain Will dry up...Heat Will Continue!

Last unsettled day...with more October HEAT on the way!

We start today with streams of showers and drizzle in a very uncomfortably muggy air mass! Most of the Metro rain will be early...as it shifts into areas from FTW west later this AM into PM. There may also be some showers north in the afternoon...however many will see some breaks in the clouds PM to get us well into the 80s.
High pressure aloft moves in overnight and will squash the showers.

Partly sunny, very warm and somewhat humid (but less MUGGY) conditions are expected Thursday (upper 80s) and Friday (near 90). With light winds, there may be air pollution issues as well.

We'll see a weak cold front move into northern areas Saturday before stalling out. 20% showers or a storm are possible north/nw of the DFW area...but most of us will still be well into the 80s.

As the front lifts back north, Sunday looks HOT in the low 90s which will continue into Monday. Then we watch for a STRONG fall cold front. Timing is still a bit iffy, but should be Monday PM or night. isolated storms are possible BUT most important is the cooler air that moves in Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs should be in the 70s with lows finally in the 50s!
