Pattern May Break Down a Bit....

Slight storm chances this weekend...

Still quiet today as high pressure still holds across most of Texas. South winds will still be brisk, although not as strong as previous days. Highs still mid to upper 90s, and the Heat Index should be just under advisory criteria (102-105).

The high breaks down this weekend, and may allow a couple of disturbances to get into North Texas. One in Oklahoma tonight may bring a few storms to areas N & W of DFW. The others will move in both Saturday and Sunday.

Both days look partly sunny, very warm and humid (mid 90s). Storm coverage will only be about 20% (with highest chances generally northern counties, although a storm could pop anywhere).

By next week, the disturbance should exit leaving us with typical July weather. Temps should remain under 100, although mid to upper 90s every day should be fairly common...and with south breezes...expect a fair amount of humidity.
