Morning showers give way to afternoon sunshine

The low that hovered over North Texas this morning will move on out by the afternoon, meaning the showers that we see early should clear by lunchtime for areas east. Areas west saw very little rain and will also be dry for the rest of the day. We should top out around 54° with light winds and clearing cloud cover as the day rolls on.

Tonight, mostly clear skies and light winds with lows in the upper 30s.

Tomorrow brings a little warmer weather with plentiful sunshine and highs in the low 60s. We'll have another cold front pass through in the evening, which will switch the winds from south to north overnight, and increase winds into Monday morning.

Want rain? You're out of luck this week. Dry conditions with temps in the 50s, 60s, and eventually near 70° by next weekend.
