More Sultry...Less Stormy (For Now)

Taking a step BACK in late summer.

After a beautiful weekend, south winds return this week to push us back to September weather. Today will be mainly sunny but warmer with highs mid to upper 80s.

South winds get stronger next couple of days, so we turn more humid. Some low clouds will occur each morning (esp Wed-Thu) but enough sun will be around to push highs into the upper 80s...even 90 Wed-Thu.

As for rain chances, they have diminished greatly, as our first system weakens on its trip in. We will see some storms Tue eve-night in west/north counties, and possibly an isolated pop-up shower Wednesday...but the bulk will wait until Thu. night-Friday as a cold front heads in. At this time, it appears to be the MAIN system next week, followed by cooler air into next weekend.
