More changes on the way across North Texas!

A weak disturbance moving through the region will bring some showers to areas mainly south and west of DFW. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies and near normal temperatures are on tap for Saturday, as highs climb to the low and mid 60s.

Breezy south winds take over Sunday, ahead of our next cold front. Mostly cloudy skies and late afternoon showers, along with a few storms will be possible. The better rain chances come in Sunday night into Monday morning, as the cold front approaches from the northwest. Widespread showers and thunderstorms move through, with some strong to severe storms possible after midnight. Gusty downburst winds are the greatest concern with any stronger storms.

Cooler air returns mid-week, with cool mornings in the 30s/40s and afternoons in the 50s to low 60s. Another slow-moving disturbance heads this way by next weekend, keeping cool and wet conditions in place.
