Lower humidity and cooler than normal temperatures hang on for one more day across North Texas. Through the rest of the week, temperatures and humidity rise. A frontal boundary brings the threat for storms Wednesday morning. We expect another disturbance with storms Friday morning. 90s return for the weekend, with rain chances increasing by Father's Day.
Storm chances continue this week
FOX 4 Weather meteorologist say we'll have a quieter day today with some afternoon storms mainly northeast of DFW. But, the storm chances will increase with overnight disturbances. These storms, much like the last few days, will pack the chance for strong winds. Father's Day storms cause damage, power outages across North Texas
The National Weather Service will be surveying damage from Sunday’s storms.
In the Fort Worth suburb of white settlement, the powerful wind knocked down a street sign and a fence. It caused Elizabeth Hampton’s chimney to come crashing down.
