Late Summer Storms May End The Week

This week we go from SUNNY to UNSETTLED.

One last morning of beautiful, low humidity weather. With high pressure aloft, we'll heat up quickly into the low 90s PM with light south winds.

Tuesday will see some clouds on the increase, but still tranquil. Definitely more humid with highs again low 90s.
Things start to change mid-week. A weak cold front will STALL just north of us. That will leave us on the warm, humid side. Slowly, but surely...we'll see some extra lift in the atmosphere, so shower chances will be on the rise. fairly low coverage Wednesday, but higher coverage Thursday.

This front looks to start moving in late week...esp, Friday-Fri. night, so that look to be highest coverage for now. Some storms may be strong.

Assuming the front moves through Saturday (NOT a gimme at this point), we'll see AM showers end and dry up PM, with some sun and temps in the mid 80s.

All indications are that any "stabilizing" effect would be brief as another decent shot of showers/storms may arrive early next week.
