Last Week of Fall?!

Ready To Rock! Fasten your seat belts...

Slightly colder air has filtered in this morning on a north wind. That will keep temps about 5 degrees cooler than yesterday most areas. Clouds are also hanging tough from Dallas east. They may last a decent part of the day...whereas areas from FTW west will have more sun.

Even cooler air heads in tonight and Thursday, even though we may see more sun eastern areas, with more clouds west. Highs may struggle to get out of the 40s.

Thursday night, strong south winds begin to blow...which will keep temps stead in the 40s. There may be some spotty drizzle as well into friday AM. temps will head up all day...finishing into the evening with highs in the 60s from FTW east and above 70 west! Very windy as well.

Saturday starts very warm. We'll still get into the 70s most areas HOWEVER the ARCTIC FRONT may come through near noon now...with plummeting afternoon temps and low shower chances.

We'll drop below freezing at night and a little remaining moisture may be squeezed out as some sleet pellets or light snow...mainly north, but the BIG story will be Sunday morning temps in the 20s and WIND CHILLS in the teens!

Even with partly sunny skies, we'll only get into the mid 30s, with wind chills in the 20s all day. Monday looks DRY with partly sunny skies and tamps again in the 20s to start and 30s to finish.

Tuesday, clouds will be rolling back in ahead of a storm system...we'll be above freezing (low 40s) and stay above as the storm moves in with rain chances into Wednesday. At this time it looks like a chilly RAIN for most areas. There is a slight chance if it arrives early, there could be an icing issue, but that probability looks low right now....
