Heat Advisory through 8 p.m. Monday

Another hot day in North Texas. A Heat Advisory remains in effect from today through Monday at 8 p.m. for dangerously high temperatures. Actual highs both today and tomorrow will be in the upper 90s, but the heat index could rise above 105°.  Take extra care with extended time outdoors to avoid heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

There is a 20% chance of showers and even a rumble of thunder after 4 p.m. especially to our NW. Tonight, storms are possible especially north of I-20, but coverage will only be 20-30%. Some of the storms may be strong, but we're not expecting severe weather.  Winds will be breezy out of the south at 13-23 mph.

Tonight, rain moves east into the morning hours, with once again only sparse coverage. Lows should be in the upper 70s.

Tomorrow, rain chances decrease in the afternoon to 10% but the heat continues with 'feels like' temps 105-110°.
