From summer to winter in 24 hours!

From the PEAK to the VALLEY! Could be over 50 degrees between today's HIGHs and Saturday AM LOWs

Sunshine and gusty SW winds will push temps well into the 80s today...even hitting 90 in some western areas!

The strong COLD FRONT will move through towards midnight with very strong north winds.

It won't be that cold Friday AM (near 50) BUT 20-30 mph winds will make it feel a LOT colder. Clouds will move in through early afternoon (few sprinkles Metro...maybe a shower for easter areas) and keep temps in the 50s all day. Skies will clear later in the afternoon.

Temps fall quickly after sunset into the 40s for Friday night football and into the 30s overnight. Metro temps will remain above freezing but areas to the north will get close. Throw in a NW breeze and chills will be in the upper 20s by morning!

Sun will slowly warm temps to near 60 by the afternoon..with a breeze continuing. As that breeze dies to near calm winds...we plummet again into the 30s by Sunday AM. Frosts and freezes are also likely that morning in sheltered locations.

Sunday quickly warms with west winds into the low 70s by afternoon...and continues to warm Monday.

We could see temps cross 80 again Monday before the next STRONG FRONT.

That will be through Monday night, so Halloween now looks MUCH colder. Clouds will take over and temps will stay in the 50s all day with even a low chance for rain!
