Guaranteed HOT finish to summer, with a few storms for some lucky folks!
You will notice it is MUGGIER and breezier today. South winds will be stronger. Highs mid 90s but the Heat Index will be close to 100. As for rain chances 10% SE counties midday BUT a stronger disturbance moves in from the west PM-eve. That will trigger a few stronger storms west of FTW. There is a chance a few will survive until late eve or midnight as they move towards the Metroplex.
Wednesday will be partly sunny and muggy as well. Highs mid 90s and Heat Index again near 100. There is a low shower chance mainly from Dallas east.
Finally, our last chance for any shower activity is Thursday as we'll see some random smaller showers in the afternoon hours. Temps may be down a hair, but humidity stays high.
As we start FALL FRIDAY...highs will stay in the 90s but rain chances dry up.
Southeast winds this weekend will keep humidity UP and temps in the low 90s through Monday. No rain is expected.
The next chance will be possibly mid-week as a cold front tries to come down from the north.
