Rinse, repeat! More storms...for SOME...all week!
A tropical air-mass will again heat up with several small disturbances in Texas triggering PM showers/storms from about noon-7pm. Brief gusty winds, heavy rain are main threats. Once again...no ORGANIZED severe weather, but any storm can always go severe for a minute or two, so be careful. These will die quickly before sunset as highs get into the mid to upper 90s again.
We'll likely repeat this tomorrow and Thursday, although Thursday's storms may come in from the NW as the upper level winds switch direction.
By Friday, the pattern starts to lift away (20% PM storms) and is slowly replaced this weekend by HIGH pressure building in. Temps will head into the upper 90s and likely near 100 as we finish July and move slowly into August next week.
