All time record heat with just one twist...

Record HEAT with a surprising one day twist! Still not your Mother's November!

We start very warm (low clouds SE) and as winds swing to the SW we will see temps shoot into the 80s by noon and at or above 90 many areas this afternoon. This will easily break today's record (87) and the all time November record (89).

There is a caveat! The COLD FRONT we anticipated moving in tonight and stalling just north of the MPLEX Friday will now push through NTX. That will make a HUGE difference in the forecast. Instead of 80s Friday, we will see temps range from the 60s NW to the 70s Metro...and still 80s south. Low clouds will also linger longer before breaking for sun.

By Saturday morning, the front will retreat north. Low clouds will break for sun with a humid breeze to push temps back into the mid 80s.

Sunday looks even warmer. Lows well into the 60s and highs upper 80s...may even flirt with 90. Record is 89 and we'll be close!

We will likely stay warm (80s) Monday HOWEVER another COLD FRONT will make it into northern areas. These cannot be perfectly estimated far in advance...so we'll have to watch to see if cooler air does make it in. The front stalls on top of us Tuesday before chugging through by Wednesday with FINALLY a return to more normal November air in the 60s to near 70.
