A little more HEAT, a few Less Showers!
More like the July we know and love! Hot and Humid. Repeat.
The disturbances that brought storms the past few days isn't totally gone...but it is moving out. We'll have a bit more sun and higher temps in the mid-90s with the Heat Index well over 100 this week.
Today, there may still be a few storms but mainly south and east of the DFW area. Still 10% in the MPLEX though. Pretty much the same story tomorrow and Wednesday as we will be on the 'fringes" of a high-pressure system which means south to southeast winds at all levels of the atmosphere which can always brew a shower if heated enough!
We'll see the hottest readings as we end the week (with fewer showers as well) BUT the pattern does look to shift back to a stormier one by the weekend! A weak cold front again in Oklahoma, and northerly flow again high above the ground which will bring in additional storm chances starting Saturday PM and continuing into Sunday!
