A foggy start, but strong storms could roll in overnight

A foggy start to your Sunday, but it should burn off pretty quickly. We'll see mostly cloudy skies with windy conditions this afternoon with a high around 69°. Winds will be sustained at 15-25 mph with gusts over 35 mph.

Tonight, an approaching cold front brings a chance of strong, possibly severe, storms to the North Texas area. Storms will impact areas west after midnight, then filter in to the Metroplex between 2 and 6 a.m., and eventually exit the region by 10 a.m.

The biggest threat with these storms will be gusty winds, though isolated flooding and small hail isn't out of the question.

Temps will recover nicely with sunshine prevailing by Monday afternoon with highs around 70°.

Cooler air filters back in by midweek, and next weekend looks to be a cold rain setup for the beginning of the weekend.
