Showers and a few storms will be widespread today. A few stronger storms west as a dying squall line works in. There will be some heavier rain however this is not the "major" batch.
Tonight into Friday AM...heavier rain may consolidate from DFW N & W where flooding may develop. Coverage will shrink elsewhere.
Friday midday-PM. Still showers and a few storms but coverage will again go down. Could actually drop to under 50%...HOWEVER... Saturday it again goes WAY UP as a strong disturbance heads in. Flooding may end up being most likely that day.
Sat. night-Sun...heavier rain quickly tapers off and moves into eastern areas BUT it will not totally end. We will either get light rain or drizzle part of Sunday keeping temps in the 60s all day.
We dry out early next week, with a decent mid-week cold front to sweep out the clouds by late week along with nice, cool fall air.
