Friday, November 11 is Veterans Day -- a day to honor our brave heroes who have kept our country safe. As a way to say thank you, many restaurants are offering special discounts and free meals for veterans and active military. Keep in mind, most businesses require a valid military ID or proof of service.

Abacus and Jasper's: Complimentary entree with a valid military ID.
Aspen Creek Grill: Choose one of six FREE entrees from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Dallas Arboretum: FREE admission to service members and veterans.
Denton County Transportation Authority: FREE rides for veterans and active military personnel.
Fort Worth Zoo: FREE admission to service members, veterans and a guest on Sunday for "Heroes Day." There will be patriotic-themed entertainment.
Norma's Cafe: FREE breakfast all day for veterans at all four DFW locations.
Silver Fox Steakhouse: FREE entree up to $35 for all veterans and active military.
Veterans Resource Center in Oak Cliff: Group of dentists will provide FREE dental care to local veterans.
Wolf Den in Gainesville: FREE meals, excluding steaks and gratuity.
