Texas teen asks Whataburger to homecoming
A high school student in the Houston area had a popular date for her school’s homecoming dance – Whataburger.
The Friendswood Independent School District posted the story on its Facebook page.
The district said earlier this month Gracie Kempken, a freshman at Friendswood High School, was searching for a date and thought of her favorite restaurant. She sent out a tweet asking them to homecoming.
Whataburger surprised her by agreeing. Kempken was even more surprised when the restaurant’s mascot showed up at her school Friday with a one-of-a-kind French fry mum.
The couple presumably had a great time at the dance later that night.
