Four babies were born in Corpus Christi right after Hurricane Harvey made landfall Friday night.

The hospitals in the area stayed open throughout the storm and relied on generators. But one mother couldn't make it to the hospital and was forced to deliver her baby at home where the power was out.

EMS crews arrived to take her to the hospital shortly after the baby was born.

“We got on the phone and we called EMS but we didn’t think they were going to show up as bad as it was,” said Andre Garza, the baby’s father.

“She wanted to make her entrance. So she’s here,” added Isabel Pena, the baby’s mother.

Another one of the babies born during the storm was named Harvey.
