Humans will never stop inventing new ways to actually get people out of bed.

Leaving the comfort of a cozy bed is never easy, especially when that snooze button on your alarm is just far too easy to push. But a new alarm called the Ruggie forces sleepy people to physically get out of bed to shut it off -- and there's no snooze button, which actually sounds a bit cruel.

The alarm will only shut off it you rest both of your feet on its memory foam padding for a full three seconds, which means you have to physically get out of bed in order to deactivate the annoying beep. And there's no snoozing, so simply tapping the alarm won't work.

Additionally, once you're out of bed and the alarm is off, the rug will play customizable speeches or funny sayings to make it worthwhile. Or maybe just encouragement to not get back in bed.
