A naked, life-size statue of Donald Trump has popped up overnight in San Francisco's Castro District.

The statue, which has gathered onlookers, sits on the corner of Castro and Market streets.

It is just one of many naked Trump statues unveiled in several cities across the United States on Thursday.

According the political blog, The Hill, the statues were created by the anarchist collective Indecline and are on display in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Seattle.

The group has reportedly named the political art project "The Emperor Has No Balls."

Rachel Gordon from SF Department of Public Works said it was undetermined that the statue would be coming down but that it was undetermined when. The reason given was that there was no permit issued to have the stature placed at the location. Gordon called it a, "potential safety hazard."

"We will try to do our best to keep it intact and we'll store it," she added.

City Supervisor Scott Wiener, whose district includes the Castro, weighed in on Twitter and said, "Naked Trump to be removed tonight. I'm working to save him so SF can be reminded of his ridiculousness thru election."
