A pint-sized officer is on patrol in one Kansas neighborhood.
Five-year-old Oliver rides the streets of tiny Leawood, Kan. on his tiny motorcycle. He even has a real radar gun to track down speeders.
He’s given out a few citations, but only asks for a kiss on the cheek to pay the fine.
“Some days they are speeding. Today I only found one car speeding,” he explained. “Try to yell, ‘Slow down!’ But I can’t because I keep forgetting to.”
Officer Oliver said he decided he wanted to be a police officer way back when he was only 3 years old. Now he wears his little police uniform everywhere he goes and takes his job seriously.
“I’m gonna still be a police officer when I grow up. Yeah, I’m still a police officer,” he said.
