A friendly face is returning to the Dallas Mavericks.

According to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania, free agent Devin Harris has agreed to a 1-year, veteran's minimum deal with the Mavs.

Dallas traded Harris to the Denver Nuggets in February, where he averaged 8.2 points in 27 games. The 35-year-old has played nine seasons in Dallas, the same place he began his career.

Harris fills the spot vacated by Yogi Ferrell after Ferrell spurned the Mavericks to join the Sacramento Kings.
