A video circulating on social media shows Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis bloodied after he was involved in an altercation in his home country of Latvia.
In the video, Porzingis has blood on his face while outside of a nightclub, and pushes a woman out of the way before confronting another group of people.
According to a statement from the Mavs, he was “jumped and assaulted,” but no further details have been released at this time.
Here is the full statement released by the Mavericks:
"It is our understanding that Kristaps was jumped and assaulted outside of a club in Latvia. We will provide an update when one is available."
