Ezekiel Elliott involved in minor car crash in Frisco

FRISCO, Texas - Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott was involved in a minor fender bender Wednesday morning in Frisco.

Frisco police confirmed it happened around 7 a.m. in the area of Dallas Parkway and Gaylord Parkway, which is near the team’s practice facility. TMZ reported Elliott rear-ended a black BMW in his “huge black GMC truck.”

No one was hurt in the crash. A witness told TMZ Elliott seemed frustrated but said he was extremely nice to everyone who stopped to help.

“I’m good. I’ve been in bigger collisions. Lol,” he tweeted afterward.

During a press conference Wednesday morning, Coach Jason Garrett said he saw Elliott about 20 minutes after the accident. He's fine and will play Sunday against the Packers.

"I"m fine. I'm healthy. I'm good," Elliott said. "Like nothing happened. My car is messed up. That's about it."

"He sent me a text and told me he was okay," his mom explained. "Then he sent me a screenshot about it from the TMZ website ."

With the next game right around the corner, Elliot was clearly trying to shift gears from the wreck to getting revved up for the Green Bay Packers.

"Just glad nobody was hurt this morning. Everyone walked away healthy," he said. "And that's all I'm going say about it."

Cowboys will face the Packers at 3 p.m. Sunday on FOX 4.
