The grand opening for Texas Live! in Arlington is just days away and while the outside is surrounded by construction, the inside is a different story.

Thursday is coming sooner than later and there are still finishing touches being made. That said, Texas Live!'s CEO says work remains on schedule and everything should be done by opening night as crews are working 24 hours a day.

Inside the venue, the massive big screens are up and running and tables are set for customers. Officials said the eateries have been going through mock service to be ready.

"We've had the kitchen dialed in for about two weeks now, running through the menus, training on the cook’s lines. This is the very last step of training,” said Jim Watry, Texas Live! CEO.

Some of the more notable restaurants include Troy’s (from ex-Cowboys QB Troy Aikman) and Pudge’s Pizza (from ex-Rangers catcher Ivan ‘Pudge’ Rodriguez).

Private events will take place on Thursday afternoon before the venue opens up to the public with a free concert by the Toadies at 8 p.m. Beginning Friday, Texas Live! will be open daily at 11 a.m.

Construction will still continue around the site, as Globe Life Field and a new hotel are still being built next door to Texas Live!
