Woman pulled from burning Dallas home

Dallas firefighters saved a woman who was inside a burning home.

The fire was reported just after 3 in the morning in the 2500 block of Scott Street. A neighbor smelled smoke and called 911. The neighbor then ran to the home and banged on the door but got no response. When Dallas firemen arrived they found the woman in a front room and got her out of the burning home. The woman was taken to Parkland Hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The name of the woman injured in the blaze has not been released.
