Woman fatally stabbed outside Arlington apartments

ARLINGTON, Texas - A woman died after she was found stabbed outside an Arlington apartment complex early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 1:15 a.m. at the Sunset Point Apartments in the 2000 block of Springs Mist Drive, near Interstate 30 and Collins Street.

Witnesses said they saw a man and a woman involved in what appeared to be a domestic dispute outside an apartment. Later they heard her scream and saw her being chased through the parking lot.

The woman was taken to the hospital with multiple stab wounds. She died shortly after arriving.

Police were still searching the scene for evidence with the suspect, 41-year-old Milton Buchanan, returned. He was arrested for murder and is being held at the Arlington city jail.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.
