A Dallas grandmother recalled terrifying moments when four armed men kidnapped her adult granddaughter.

Esperanza Buckaloo said the men kicked in the door to her apartment in the 400 block of 9th Street around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

She said they spent 15 to 20 minutes ransacking the place while she and her 1-year-old great granddaughter were told to get on the floor.

The men stole a TV and then forced her 20-year-old granddaughter to go with them.

After three and a half hours, the woman called 911 to say she was dumped at a gas station near Interstate 20 and Augustine Road.

“That was a horrific time for me to have to wonder where she was going to wind up. But she’s okay now and I’m thankful for that,” Buckaloo said.

Dallas police said detectives interviewed the victim and witnesses, but have not been entirely forthcoming with their statements.

No arrests have been made.
