Wet Thanksgiving for holiday shoppers

Shoppers in search of Thanksgiving Day deals found themselves bargaining with nature Thursday night.

Rainsoaked crowds at the Target on U.S. Hwy. 75 & N. Haskell Ave. came prepared with umbrellas and even trash bags to protect them from the elements.
It was a similar story at stores across North Texas, as shoppers proved the search for a deal was more important than the weather.
"Standing out here getting rained on," said shopper John Moore, "I mean it doesn't feel good, but it's going to feel good when we have this big pretty screen sitting in the living room."
Some TV's were marked down as much as half off.
As a thank you for standing out in the rain, Target employees raffled off gift cards, and gave out snacks.
