Weatherford HS teen with autism makes winning basketball shot

A North Texas student who lives with autism is enjoying the spotlight after an unexpected moment on the basketball court.

J.R. Wise, a Weatherford High School freshman, made a game-winning basketball shot Monday night.

It was his first time ever getting to play in a game.

It was the final game of the season, with a minute left to go.

Wise's team went on to hold the 1-point lead he gave them, which led the team to win the game over Arlington Bowie.
