Warming stations set up in Dallas

Warming stations are now available in the City of Dallas for people who need relief from the bitter cold temperatures.

43 recreation centers and 29 libraries are open during normal business hours for people to seek temporary relief from the cold, according to the City of Dallas.

Managers at each location will work to determine if those who visit need a place to stay overnight.

Multiple shelters,  including Union Gospel Mission, Salvation Army and Austin Street are  opening up additional space as well.
