A vigil was held for 36-year-old Julio Ledesma. Hundreds of students and parents were in attendance, most of whom didn't know him.
Ledesma was killed when the steel frame of an indoor practice field fell for an unknown reason, trapping several people.
Ledesma died at the scene. Two were hospitalized with unknown injuries, and another was treated for minor injuries.
Ledesma lived in Fort Worth. He posted pictures of the construction site late last week on his Facebook page.
The single father of three listed that he worked for Warnick Metal Building Erectors, Ltd., which was hired by Northstar Builders to help construct the indoor practice facility.
Friends say it means a lot that the Argyle community is stepping in to support the Ledesma family, already raising more than $7,000 in a GoFundMe account.
Ledesma leaves behind three daughters, one of whom who carried flowers to the memorial outside the construction site.
Investigators are still working to figure out why the practice facility collapsed.
