UPDATE: Woman's body recovered after drowning Saturday in Lake Ray Hubbard

The body of a 40-year-old woman was recovered from Lake Ray Hubbard around 2 p.m. Sunday according to the Game Warden. Her identity has not been released but authorities did confirm she was not wearing a life jacket.

Witnesses say the woman jumped off a pontoon boat around 6 p.m. Saturday and never resurfaced. Crews had to stop searching when night fell but returned Sunday morning.

The woman's death was one of two drowning calls that sent first responders to separate lakes Saturday.

A young girl also drowned at Little Elm Park in the first incident. Officials identified the three-year-old as Samyah Craver-Watson.

Authorities say the toddler was reported missing around 3:30 p.m. Little elm police, fire, EMS, parks and recreation and volunteers searched for her. They found her body in a shallow part of Lewisville Lake; unconscious and unresponsive. Authorities say despite emergency efforts to revive her; she was pronounced dead at Medical City Denton.
