Tyrese Lynch, 33, is accused of fatally shooting Isis Williams, 24, inside her Germantown home.

Police are looking for the man who they say shot and killed a mother as she slept next to her 5-day-old baby in Germantown.

Tyrese Lynch, 33, remains at large after the alleged murder of his girlfriend, 24-year-old Isis Williams.

The shooting occurred on the 6300 block of North Woodstock Street around 4 a.m. Friday.

Police say Williams was shot multiple times in the second-floor bedroom of a home, just feet away from where her newborn child was sleeping in a crib. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

FOX 29’s Steve Keeley reports at least two bullet casings were found on the bedroom floor. Police say there appears to have been a struggle inside the home.

The newborn baby girl was taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children to receive care.

Lynch is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police. This is an ongoing investigation.
