A Union Pacific train derailed and its crew rescued in the Corsicana-area early Saturday.

Footage from Sky4 showed parts of the railroad track swept away and the wheels of some of the train cars ripped off. The incident happened near I-45 and Highway 287.

UP officials said two crew members had to swim to safety and be rescued by Navarro County swift water rescue team members.

The train was carrying concrete materials and officials were monitoring any potential fuel leaks from the train.

Parts of Navarro County have received more than 18 inches of rain since storms started on Thursday.
