Three-vehicle crash ends with one dead and two hurt

One person was killed in a crash between two motorcycles and a vehicle.

It happened just before 5:00 Sunday morning on the southbound exit ramp of the Dallas North Tollway and President George Bush Turnpike, according to Department of Public Safety spokesperson, Lonnie Haschel.

A Nissan Sentra was traveling south on the ramp. The driver lost control, hit the concrete retaining wall and overturned, Haschel said.

Two motorcycles, one Honda and one Kawasaki were also traveling south on the ramp. The motorcycles hit the Nissan, according to a preliminary investigation, Haschel said.

The driver of the Kawasaki Motorcycle died at the scene.

The female driver of the Nissan was taken to Medical Center of Plano with serious injuries. The driver of the Honda was taken to Baylor Hospital in Plano with serious injuries.

The crash is still being investigated.
