On April 6, several suspects dashed in and grabbed what they could carry from Rowlett's only Sprint store.
That same day, there was a break-in at a Spring store at the Collin Creek Mall location in Plano, which had been burglarized two days prior.
In all, there have been five cases total, involving cases from Irving, Lewisville and Mesquite in addition to Rowlett and Plano.
The suspects have been caught on surveillance video. Surveillance video from Plano shows a good look at their faces.
Their lack of organization and frenetic behavior leads police to think they may be teenagers.
"They don't know what they're doing," said Officer David Tilley with the Plano Police Department. "Uou can clearly see in the video they're just running all over the place."
Investigators don't know why the group is targeting Sprint stores, but the escalation of crimes is troubling.
"That's the reason we need to get these people identified right away and get them off the street," said Tilley.
Surveillance video captured what police believe to be the suspects' vehicle, which is described as a newer-model red sedan with a sunroof.
Police are looking for four male suspects and possibly one female.
