UPDATE: The missing girls have been found and are safe. The suspect, Terry Allen Miles, has been taken into custody in Colorado, according to the Round Rock Police Chief Allen Banks.
Tips had led law enforcement officials to search for the abducted girls and Terry Miles in Las Animas County of Colorado. The suspect was found driving erratically in a vehicle with the two girls around 7 p.m. MT on Wednesday, January, 3, 2017. Terry Miles was taken into custody without incident.
According to the Round Rock Police Department, detectives with the department are flying out to meet with Child Protective Services in Colorado to make sure the children are safely reunited with family members. RRPD is continuing its investigation into the death of Tonya Bates.
The search continues for 14-year-old Lilianais "Lili" Griffith and 7-year-old Luluvioletta "Lulu" Bandera-Magret of Round Rock, Texas, according to the Round Rock Police Department. It is believed that the missing girls are with 44-year-old Terry Allen Miles.
Terry Miles is a person of interest in their mother's death and has an extensive criminal history.
According to police, it is believed the girls have been taken to Colorado. Terry Allen Miles was seen on surveillance footage from a business in the Colorado area. The girls were not seen with him.

Police officers with the Round Rock Police Department ask the public to continue to watch for the missing girls at gas stations and truck stops. It is believe that Terry Miles is traveling in a Hyundai Accent with the Texas license plate JGH 9845.
The two girls went missing after their mother, 44-year-old Tonya Bates, was found dead in their Round Rock duplex on Sunday. "At this point, what we know is he's just a roommate, that all he did was live in the residence. There is no relationship, that we know of, between him and Tonya," says Round Rock Police Chief Banks.
The two young girls are believed to be with Miles against their will, according to officials.
Seven-year-old Lulu attended Johnson Elementary School in Texas according to a spokesperson with Round Rock ISD. It's believed 14-year-old Lili was being home-schooled.
