Texas high school football practice begins

Hundreds of high school football teams are now getting ready for the season.

Class A through 4A programs were allowed to begin workouts Monday.

Class 5A and 6A schools that didn’t have spring workouts could also start preparing.

Both Krum High School near Denton and North Crowley High School south of Fort Worth went to work at midnight.

On Monday morning, Dallas Carter High School kicked off its training camp on its Red Bird area campus.
