Teen runs from possible abductors in Arlington

ARLINGTON, Texas - A teenager said two men tried to grab her while she was jogging in east Arlington Wednesday evening.

The girl told police she was jogging along Gilbert Circle near Highway 360 and Abrams Street around 6 p.m. when it happened.

She said two men in an SUV told her to get in and tried to grab her. One of them had a knife.

She ran to a nearby apartment complex for help.

Police described one of the suspects as a Hispanic male who is about 40 years old. He was about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 140 pounds with short dark hair.

The men were driving a dark blue SUV with CW8 in the license plate number.
