A teenager was hit by gunfire overnight when someone shot through the front windows of his home.

Dallas police are still investigating the drive-by shooting that happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday on Concordia Lane, near Interstate 35E and Camp Wisdom Road in southeast Oak Cliff.

A gray sedan reportedly pulled up in front of the home and fired about two dozen rounds. Several of the bullets went through the front window.

A young teenager who was inside the home with a couple of family members was hit. He was taken to Children’s Medical Center Dallas and is expected to recover.

The car sped away from the scene before police arrived. The suspects are still on the run.

There’s no word yet on a motive for the shooting but police said they do not believe the teen was the intended target.
