A suspected serial robber was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Old East Dallas after a two-day crime spree.

Dallas police tracked down the suspect to a home in the 1300 block of Skiles Street. He’s believed to be responsible for one bank robbery on Tuesday and three bank robberies on Wednesday.

SWAT team helped Dallas police arrest the suspect. He came out of the home peacefully and was arrested without incident.

In most of the robberies, police say he handed the banks tellers a note. They say he only displayed a weapon in one robbery but did not point it at anybody or fire it.

Police say tips from witnesses at the banks led them to the Old East Dallas home.

The suspect’s name has not been released.
