Dallas police released a sketch Thursday night of a suspect wanted in connection to a shootout that left an innocent bystander dead.
He has a distinctive tattoo over his left eyebrow of a fleur-de-lis. He also has a "9" tattooed in the middle of his forehead, and witnesses say he has sleeved tattoos on both arms.
He is believed to be about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall.
Last week, a group of men got into an argument in the parking lot of the Oasis Park Apartments on Ledbetter Drive in Oak Cliff. Two of the men pulled guns and began shooting.
Kierra Robinson, 19, was caught in the gunfire and died.
She had been sitting outside her apartment with her sisters. Investigators say one shooter has been identified.
They believe the other men involved are from New Orleans.
Witnesses say the suspects were seen leaving in a small, newer-model burgundy SUV.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact Det. Eric Barnes at 214-671-3480.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading an arrest and indictment.
Robinson was a senior at John Leslie Patton Jr. Academic Center in Dallas. Family members say Robinson was looking forward to graduating this May.
Robinson's sisters say the teen will be buried in her cap and gown on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Faithful Missionary Baptist Church at 6255 Bonnie View Road in Dallas.
