Supreme Court's same-sex marriage ruling expected soon

The Supreme Court's decision on same-sex marriage could come as early as today.

The court is weighing whether the 14th Amendment allows states to deny same-sex couples to marry or to deny recognized same-sex marriages performed in other states.

If the court rules in favor of same-sex marriage, couples are expected to rush to get licenses, including here in Dallas.

The decision is expected to come no later than next week, when the court's term ends.

Thirteen states currently ban same-sex marriage.
