Storms Saturday night and Sunday morning caused power outages and flooding in some parts of the metroplex.

The rain added to the wettest year on record in north Texas.

At least one driver became stranded in high water. Fox 4 captured video of the woman in Dallas at West Mockingbird and Irving Boulevard around 8:15 a.m. Sunday. She was able to safely exit her vehicle but the car remained stalled out in the water.

A Fox 4 viewer in Heath, Texas sent in pictures of damage at their home. A trampoline got blown over a fence and landed in a mangled mess on the other side of their property.

Power outages increased throughout the morning. Around 2:00 a.m. Sunday, about 1,000 Oncor customers were without power. By 7:20 a.m., about 20,000 homes and businesses were without power.

Many of the outages were in Fort Worth, near the stock yards and on the south side of the city.
