Snowy Wednesday likely for North Texas

Most of North Texas will be under a winter weather advisory beginning at midnight as snow makes its way toward the area on Wednesday morning.

An upper level low (cold air) is projected to go over North Texas early Wednesday, which would create conditions for a couple of hours of heavy, wet snow to accumulate.

An estimated one to three inches could fall in North Texas, with two to four inches east of Dallas. The snow is expected to stop by noon on Wednesday.

A handful of districts said they would open late Wednesday, but the vast majority weren't expected to decide until the morning. For a complete list of Wednesday closings and delays, visit http://bit.ly/1BCId78.
